Lebo Ramafoko, CEO of Soul City Institute (active E-Motive PARTNER), inspired Innoversity Parade in Amsterdam. She was one of the key speakers; the highlight of the day. “Many guests informed us that they thought you were the most inspirational speaker there. She joined Soul City Institute in 1995 as a graduate and social activist. She wanted to contribute to the reconstruction of a country that was devast...ated by apartheid. With a degree in education and a passion for youth, Ramafoko was very pleased with the opportunity that Soul City offered her to develop teaching materials for young people to improve their self-esteem, diseases such as preventing HIV.
At the Parade Lebo introduced their successful South African edutainment method to inspire Dutch media makers to create more diverse and innovative media productions. The strength of the South African television series, such as the soap, is that they achieved social change through media. Her motto: it's about the people, who’s story you are telling. She is amazing!
